The change from steel wire rope to synthetic filament (soft) rope is reliable and safe using Deep Tek deployment and recovery systems because they meet the higher requirements of DNV-OS-E407. This principles based standard assures complete systems as being both 'Fit for Purpose', and 'Fit for Designated Service'.
Requirements
DNV-OS-E407 requires a transparent and structured Argument, that covers the whole life of the deployment and recovery system from concept through design, manufacture, integration, testing and operation to discard. This is supported by Evidence and verified by DNVGL.
